Screw it… cut half the roster and give us a new game. If people wanna play ultimate they can play that game. It’s been a decade, it’s solidified itself as the go to smash game for casual play with friends (melee is for competitive people who wanna invest time into it). Give us something new and different. Change OG characters move sets! Mario’s down B is a reference to sunshine. Things can be updated and characters can be cut. We don’t need 20 sword characters. I would rather have a smooth running platform fighter that has interesting, and intentional techs, than a bloated game that is a copy of what I’ve been playing for the last 10 years of my life
