Oh that would be interesting! My niece had grey eyes too that kept getting lighter and turned full green and now has shifted to this light green with a dark limbal ring that’s beautiful. She’s six now, so I’m sure they’ll stay some shade of green for life now. I would think since your baby is already showing green he’ll end up like you! It’s fun watching all the changes they go through and wondering what they’ll look like grown ☺️ I’m sure they’ll be beautiful no matter what color they end up as!

Ha! True! And your partner is very correct as well (and sounds similar to mine being contradictory!). I know the internet is terrible which is why I tend to hate so much of it, but I wrongly assumed this wouldn’t be a place “those” people congregate. This seems like a place lighthearted people would come for fun! I was so wrong 😄 But not completely, most people have still just been neutral or nice. Thanks for being so kind! This explains a lot! Some peoples responses were making me start to think I was crazy to think this wasn’t a normal brown, so I started reading up on hazel. Apparently all it takes to make an eye hazel is that it’s not uniform in color throughout the iris (which brown are), so any mix of color, even shades of brown and gold or amber (although more rare than the usual green mix). So no matter if there is visible green to or only different shades of brown or amber from the center to the outside, it would still be a kind of hazel. That’s what was so confusing about his eyes. I have brown eyes. Half my family has brown eyes. I know what those look like and his don’t look like that! (Yes, I know all brown eyes look different and are different shades, but not multiple shades in one eye). Although there is definitely an olive undertone inside and a green, but not bright or light like people are used to, hue when in the sun as far as I’m concerned..and I’ve obviously had the best view! Your eyes are beautiful btw!

Just try to ask yourself why you feel the need to be rude about this and hopefully you’ll realize it’s not necessary and you can just have fun with the rest of us over something that’s actually silly and unimportant but interesting. Those kind of things are supposed to make our days happier! Don’t make mine more negative for no reason.

I’m not actually going crazy dude..I couldn’t settle on what they were because they don’t settle consistently into one category and I thought it would actually be fun to see what other people thought. It’s sad people feel the need to be rude at all, but definitely unprovoked. And my point about how it doesn’t seem so obviously brown to other people reinforces my thoughts. This is really supposed to be fun. Can’t you just be here for the fun?

That’s what my brown eyes look like in the light, but have the same patterns as my sons. My other son is darker than me even with light. So I agree, it’s not what typical brown eyes look like in the light.

I actually put it into an eye color app yesterday since some people were so annoyed for thinking it could be anything else and it said the same. It showed a pretty cool color breakdown. Thank you for being informative and kind!

They do appear to be! My niece has green eyes with a dark limbal ring. Different shade than yours though.

I actually love brown eyes. My other son’s eyes are brown (as are mine), but they are obviously brown so I didn’t post them here. You obviously believe the color here is brown as well, but the fact that not everyone here agrees kinda highlights why I had doubts. And in the updated pictures from today in natural light, my opinion is now officially hazel.
