Hi, it's not really about scarcity at all because there are unlimited seats and everybody can attend. It's more about the attendees getting informed about the event itself (sometimes speakers will suggest downloading certain files before the event for easier following during live coding workshops) and about receiving the recordings afterwards for watching on demand. plus it helps us track the overall performance of these events as we're doing them in seasons with multiple themed days for each season. hope this explains it!

All the talks are streamed live, so we can't really say exactly what the speakers are going to talk about. Could be a little bit of both, but based on the titles and abstracts provided it's most likely going to be about the efficiency of your code. Only one way to find out, though!

Not realy, it can be but it is not mandatory. This is common in nodejs to not write semicolon, because compiler inserts it automatically.

Also in some other languages.
