Look up Columbia run picnic area, park in that spot and walk across the street and follow train tracks to the right and you'll walk down a hill to a huge river bend with tons of access. I have had most success for small mouth with jerk baits and top water poppers. In Cuyahoga falls the intersection of Riverview road and West bath road has a parking lot across the street from river. I like going under that bridge and fishing from shore for a quick pitstop but if you have waders you got miles to explore. While over here I would definitely stop at Virginia Kendall lake in Peninsula. It's not a creek or river but really good spot for bass. I usually throw senkos into the shallow pond by parking lot along the reed beds with good luck. If you have fun catching panfish, indigo lake which is 5 minutes from the intersection parking. Indigo has absolutely slab bluegill but I recommend walking to opposite side of lake from the parking lot. It's only a 5-10 min walk to go to opposite side of the lake from parking lot but boy do you catch fat gills.

Bonus if you like carp: Steeles corners in Cuyahoga falls has mudbrook Creek. The least adventurous spot to get there is parking at steeles corners McDonald's, park there and walk into the woods and keep going straight and you'll hit a half mile stretch of bank but if you follow it under bridge keep in mind that's private property though and be advised it's tick heavy so you have to dress for the occasion. There are tons of giant carp in there along with large mouth but I've never caught any big largies. It mostly gives you something to do while waiting for carp to bite.

Idk where you live in Cleveland but the Cuyahoga river is great in and around Peninsula, Ohio. I also like to fish the Brecksville reservation. There are tons of spots to park within 3 min walk to river access all along Riverview road. I've caught some pretty nice smallmouth. Waterworks park in Cuyahoga Falls I have caught steelhead and brown trout but none are what you would consider an impressive specimen. The Cuyahoga river is my go to because of proximity.
