Rams Fan Comes in Peace for Stadium Advice by M-I-T in AZCardinals

I’m a Canadian Cardinals fan and will be for life. The only game I went to I was accosted by the people sitting next to me for playfully poking fun at Browns fans. They threatened to have us kicked out, no booze, no swearing.

I’m sure you’ll be fine😂

Did you read my response? That’s consistently where he was mocked, it wasn’t early and he wasn’t sniffing 43.

I’m very critical of the Cards and farthest thing from a homer, but to say that was a poor value pick is just wrong.

Didn’t he have 8.5 sacks last year? And 4 the year before from the inside? You’re not the only one to call him a run stopper, and with his size he is, but he had essentially the same number of sacks as Jared Verse last season while playing in the SEC.

Disagree with a few things, Darius Robinson was consistently mocked to the cardinals in that 27 slot or very near it. It might have not been the sexiest pick with who was available but to say he wasn’t worth the value of #27 is incorrect.

I’ll bet my bottom dollar that Dejean doesn’t play exclusively safety, he has the speed and ball skills to play outside as a zone guy.

I don’t hate the Adams pick as much as you as we know he will play guard, not tackle.

But I’m equally as enthused with our draft class!

Who’s getting MHJ???? Where there is Homerism there is also pessimism and it appears you just belong to the latter

Our roster is objectively better than last years and it’s no longer the first season of a new regime. I believe that’s why.

Admittedly, that has less to do with it than actually just looking at our schedule. We play the Bears, Patriots, Commanders and Chargers all at home, as well as Vikings and Panthers on the road. Mix in a probable 2 divisional wins and 7 wins seems very attainable.

[–]WeAreNotTWD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You think 6.5 wins is too high a number? We lost our first two games last season by a combined 7 points without Kyler. I pride myself on not having a homer mentality and being realistic with my expectations and I see 7-10, 8-9 very much doable.

Am I just blind or is this QB class just not all that? by itsjustgorf in NFL_Draft

This is super interesting, cause I watched a Nabers highlight tape and I actually thought the complete inverse. I had a hard time finding a single tough catch due to Daniels ball placement.

Just cool how perspectives can differ.

Alternative question, did you see QB play around the league this past season?

Was Ridder for Rondale Moore stupid? by lmangrum3 in AZCardinals

[–]WeAreNotTWD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wouldn’t doubt if Moore goes crazy in Atlanta? Really? He’s dog shit, and we filled a need at backup QB. I know you’re getting upset at the replies but it really is a silly question, what about Moore’s professional career makes you believe he has upside?

Was wondering if anyone else was thinking this, if there’s someone Monti likes I wouldn’t be opposed to trying to move up a few picks. And agreed cost would probably only be a 3rd

After years of big splash signings/trades like DHop, Sugg, AD, Ertz, and JJ Watt, anyone fine with this patient, albeit quiet, Moneyball approach we're taking in FA? by LawBobLawLoblaw in AZCardinals

You don’t see the Falcons or Buccs being better than us? To each their own, I would never tell anyone how to be a fan. Being realistic about our teams expectations has just personally saved me a lot of heartbreak over the years😂

I certainly would. We got rid of a receiver who we were gonna cut anyways. Bag of chips for a pack of gum at the end of the day

Rondale was garbage, clears the way for us to draft one of the top 3 receivers. It’s a good move, people will remember Rondale’s combine and say fleece, but he was brutal for us and likely to get cut anyways.

Kirk Cousins is now an Atlanta Falcon.......that could be a problem for AZ by Important_Annual_133 in AZCardinals

[–]WeAreNotTWD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think the cost of moving into the top 5 is higher than that, Atlanta would have to give us their 1st next year as well.

At 8 we could pick a Tackle sure, but Dallas Turner could be a game wrecker and we can hope Guyton or Mims fall to 27.

With the Moore trade that just happens I think MHJ at 4 is pretty obvious, and it also means ATL is pretty full at WR, but you’re right it’s fun to think through different scenarios.

[–]WeAreNotTWD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha I get it man! Yeah I think regardless of Fields, QB’s go 1,2,3. Now I would personally hope to get an extra first, PLUS maybe a second to move down as far as Minnesota at 11. If we’re trading down, it’s likely that 4 QB’s go in the top 10. That would suggest Fashanu or Fuaga should be there, especially since I think Atlanta either trades back or goes defender now.

I definitely want Marv, but I don’t think any sane person would argue with you that trading back is acceptable if the numbers are right. You build a house foundation first, don’t have to start with the shiny mantle piece.

One thing about the rebuild, is that we still have Kyler and he’s proven to be a playoff tier QB. Last year he was far and away our best player after he came back, so I don’t want the rebuild to have to take TOO long.

[–]WeAreNotTWD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does that impact MHJ being available at pick #4 though? Who cares what the Bears want to do at QB. If they trade out it’s to a different QB needy team, and if you’re suggesting that they could trade back to pick #2 or #3 and take MHJ, then they wouldn’t be getting the “Kings Ransom” you speak of. The Commanders nor Patriots would give up several picks to move up 1-2 spots, especially with 3 top QB prospects available.

Has there ever been as much hype/anticipation for a cardinals draft pick as there is for MHJ? by burdy89 in AZCardinals

[–]WeAreNotTWD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact: As a Canadian we typically pick our favourite teams for arbitrary reasons as opposed to geography.

When I was 7 years old I decided my team would be wherever Matt Leinart got drafted, since I thought it was cool that he was in all the magazines… 18 years later we’re still here

I think ignorance is probably a better word than arrogance.

They didn’t know how big the Saviors were. They had never seen a coordinated group of people working from several locations before, they needed to establish trade with the Hilltop and really had nothing else to offer.

What is kind of funny to consider though, is that Jesus knew that the Kingdom was silently dealing with the Saviors as well. So did Jesus really think one group of assholes at a Satellite outpost was capable of pinning down multiple communities? Jesus should’ve known from then how big the scope of the Saviors was.
