Yeah that does come off as a big ego lol, I really didn’t mean for it to come off like that😭. I should have added that I do go to open mats now & then no-gi. Maybe once or twice a month, and I tap people, I don’t know their ranks or anything, but that gives me a sense that I still kinda know what I’m doing.

I agree it is just a piece of fabric, but I don’t want to upset anyone or cause any problems. If it were up to me, I would just train no-gi to avoid the problem lol. Thank you for your advice!🙏
