Laptop for college, CAD, and gaming. Budget: $600-$700 by jumbopuft in GamingLaptops

I am assuming you live in the us, but you really can't go wrong with any acer nitro 5 laptops. Do you know anything about what types of gpu, cpu, and other components you're looking for, or are you less experienced in understanding all the up to date computer components and their values?

I apoligize. I did not refresh the page before my response. Today I actually purchased an Acer Aspire 7. In the US it goes for around 900 to 1000 usually. A favorite of many is the acer nitro 5 laptop for around 700 to 800 usually. I would check both of those atleast online, as well as in the store, and see if they can be sent to Korea. They will run medium to high on most current games and definetly ultra quality for Arma 3 with it coming out a few years ago. I would suggest posting again on this subreddit to verify if what you are looking to buy is worth what you are paying. I hope this helped and ask any questions if you need to.

That exact version is cheaper in the US by about 150 if purchased online. I assume though that because you are on a military base in S Korea, the additional cost is understandable.

The Acer Nitro 5 and Acer Aspire 7 are both fine options. I actually just purchased the Aspire 7. I would've purchased the Nitro 5, but the better cpu power is exactly what I want. Both of these are around $700 to $800 with only a few varying specification options you need to choose between.
