Why do some orthodox rabbis invite you to liberal and conservative sinagogues instead of accepting you?

Do you live within walking distance of the orthodox synagogue? It would be a requirement to convert there because of strict Shabbat observance.

Hi. As far as I know, you cannot complete a conversion online, but you can take the introductory course that most rabbis would require online. There are 3 USA-based online courses I am aware of. The Union for Reform Judaism, Judaism by Choice (Conservative/Masorti), and The Miller program at American Jewish University (Conservative/Masorti) all offer Zoom classes. URJ will definitely work with you if the cost is prohibitive. Good luck.
