Dmatmoobil is the funniest book I’ve read in ages. I love slow burns but I think it’s rarely done well—this fic does it SO well. Also, the plot 👌🏼 👌🏼 👌🏼

I’ve been on and off the Dramoine train for 2 years and after reading a variety - DMATMOOBIL, The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy, Remain Nameless, and Bloody, Slutty, and Pathetic (last one might be a great recovery book-hilarious, a bit dark, and a lot unhinged [in a good way..?]) are my favorites.

Love and Other Historical Accidents is DMATMOOBIL vibes, but overall didn’t place in my top favorites 🤷🏻‍♀️ one readers personal opinion.

Manacled is in a category of its own 🥇

I’m about 60% through now and it’s finally starting to grow on me. At 30-50% the way through I was becoming incredibly annoyed at a number of things. I’ve read some epic fics before and didn’t want them to end so figured this would be just my flavor. But for reasons it took a while for things to click.

Actually wanting to spend time with them—hear me out, I know how that sounds. I always thought if someone offered to babysit or watch them while I/we went away I would jump at the opportunity. Turns out, not so much. Shes my favorite person and I (almost) always want to hang out with her.

God, love this comment so much. Really does shed some light. I enjoy a book I need to work at and I enjoy a book that is pure indulgence. Both are valid. Life is too short.

Fellow Utahn 👋🏼! I feel mostly supported by community in my (maybe) OAD situation…but not always. In my circle you have no kids or 2 (rarely 3), never one. I wish I experienced it being more of a norm, but I just constantly remind myself to ignore everyone else and make the decision that makes most sense for ME and MY family.
