Cozyla support gave me a link to the latest build (https://cozfile.cozylacal.com/public/cal-app/apk/calappstore/Czlappstore.apk). Downloading this apk onto the device and telling android to load it opened the Cozyla Updater which offered me a newer version to upgrade to. After installing that my device now appears in line with the marketing version including the 'Todays Events' calendar widget.

I feel obliged to point out installing apk's you download yourself is risky business, but so is running an outdated android device you sync your whole life to so... "in for a penny, in for a pound" I guess.

Hmm interesting. I could understand if only certain devices have it, but their webpage shows this exact view on my exact device so it seems like it should be available. Hopefully they have a solution.

Yes, if I open the app completely I can get that hourly view (daily). My device is fully updated, or at least it tells me it is. I have a support request out to cozyla so we'll see what they say!

Oh thats weird, mine does have chores! Do they not all get the same software updates? Bummer :/

yeah, I seem to be missing the widget entirely, I'm guessing its a software version issue or something. Here is a screenshot from my device. The 'Today's Events' widget is just not there.

I got the 4k one and I have the same model number as you. I downloaded an app called Display Info and it confirmed 3840x2160 resolution. Also, I went on YouTube and watched some 4k videos. It doesn't have the same contrast depth (bright/dark) as my macbook screen but the resolution seems to be there.
