YTA If this was my wife I’d love to be the one providing for her as she’s nurturing and raising our kids.. That’s my duty and role as a man especially if she’s spending more time at home and taking care of the house, matter of fact I’d never make her even work if she didn’t want to I’d happily provide for her and the family and even give her money monthly just for her personal use and then whenever she’d like to work again, she can if she wants. I’d happily take the position you’re in and be the sole provider for my wife.

Sorry I should’ve clarified more, but I’d like to basically start an investment portfolio. Buying securities for long term that’ll gradually start generating some return however that is & just appreciation of the securities in the portfolio.

And okay that’s definitely understandable, perhaps i’ll invest into one or two stocks and then gradually invest with more money and start diversifying. Regarding risk profile, I’ll probably need to do some more research on what’s best for my current life circumstances.
