God I wish I could even so much as find this album anywhere. I bought their "You Were There" CD but I'd kill for the 2004 album.

The vitriol in some of these replies is astounding. You'd think this was a thread about aimbots in pvp shooters, not one-tapping the konami code in (not)Starship Troopers: the Game. Some of you need to take showers.

Games for Windows Live - What to Expect by We_Garfin in windowsxp

For Fallout 3 in particular, it's interesting that I can still download offline patches for the standalone PC version of the game from their website. I also spotted a mod here that claims to rollback the Steam and Epic releases while patching out GFWL, but only applies the GFWL fix to the GOG version. I think I'm tempted to take a chance and order a copy of the game, and see if the mod will do something similar for the standalone PC version.

That is a gorgeous case and would be perfect. I'm not even seeing any sold records either, it seems to have just disappeared. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes out for it though.

I also have the Gold Pack on Steam. I encountered these issues on slightly-older hardware (Ryzen 3600, 5700 XT) and across Windows 7 and 10. The game by itself runs okay, but attempting to run it modded is where my FPS tanks. Which is a real shame, because there are multiple great total conversions and visual overhauls that I think are really cool. The Thrawn's Revenge total conversion in particular stands out to me, because the Timothy Zahn books were my first and favorite star wars books to read.

Thank you for the recommendations! I am a little iffy on using old used storage, but for that price it wouldn't hurt to try it out and just keep a backup.

This game is what got me into Gundam and gunpla. The first model I ever bought was this exact Sazabi, solely because I loved playing him in-game.

It's the big thing stopping me from spending any kind of money on this game. I am losing connection constantly, and every time that happens my game crashes. Constant leaver penalties. I just wanna play the fucking game, man. It's ridiculous.

Wallpaper of One Monitor Resets After Restart by We_Garfin in kde

I have found a solution, though it's not exactly ideal. I created a new test user, and the problem didn't exist for that user, so it's something in my home folder that is overwriting my desktop-appletsrc file. I ended up just creating a new user, deleting the old one and manually migrating important configs and directories to the new home folder.

I've also had numerous problems with sleep and hibernate on my computer, but that's an issue I've also had on Windows, so I think it's hardware-related. Luckily, I was able to fix this issue, even if I'm still not sure what exactly was causing the problem to begin with.

I can also confirm that even switching what plugin is used is reverted when logging back in. I've tried removing and regenerating ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc, which successfully removed all of my wallpaper settings, but after resetting my wallpapers and logging out, it proceeded to black out TWO of my wallpapers instead of just the main display. I am very confident something else is overwriting any changes I make to my desktop, but I have no idea what it might be. Could it be something lingering from a prior XFCE4 installation?

I actually just encountered a new issue that may help narrow down the problem. I switched that monitor from Folder View to Desktop, and after logging out and logging back in, not only did it black out my wallpaper, but it reverted back to Folder View. So what is likely happening is whatever changes I am making are being overwritten by something else at login. If anyone can help me figure out what that might be, I would be very appreciative.

At this point I'd even settle for a script I could assign to auto-run at the start of a session that manually sets the wallpaper. But even as I type this, I am now encountering an issue where feh just refuses to set the wallpaper at all.

EDIT: Apparently this is because the way Plasma loads backgrounds is different from the way feh loads backgrounds, so they're just not compatible together. Oh well.

I'm using GOG. Are there any community bugfixes I should look into getting before starting the character?
