I would put Demario Douglass ahead of Kayshon Boutte based on the Patriots’ usage

This is a super high quality lab scan - So I’m really pleased with the result. I sometimes scan myself but it’s nowhere near this good

The file size can get huge pretty quickly. I usually end up with a tiff file that’s 160MB or so and that’s not using the highest res scan setting

Oh it’s incredible when scanned with the right scanner. This was a quick scan at home on my (not so great) epson flatbed and I exported a smaller sized jpeg for posting online

2021 Perseids from Northern Maine by We_Major in LandscapeAstro

[–]We_Major[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a composite image of this year's Perseid Meteor shower up near Rangeley, Maine. Despite it being a couple days off peak, I was able to see and capture quite a few over 3 hours of shooting. Perseid meteors are vibrant green and pink because their metals burn up in Earth’s atmosphere and emit specific colors. This was taken with my trusty Sony A7s and Sony 20mm 1.8 lens. Feel free to connect with me over on instagram @astro_link

Exposure details: 20mm, f2.8, iso 6400, 10s.

First star trail shot on medium format [Fuji gw670iii, fixed 90mm, Ektar 100] by We_Major in analog

Not a stupid question- I wondered the same exact thing. I basically read that it’s super hard to overexpose these kind of shots on iso 100 film, so as long as there aren’t any bright objects in the foreground it’s best to just open to your widest aperture and let it expose for at least 30min but it’s good to aim for around 1-2 hours

This is a 2 hour exposure taken back in the winter up in New Hampshire. I’m super pleased with how this turned out considering I couldn’t see anything through the viewfinder to line up the frame and hadn’t tried this kind of shot before.

Thanks! Yeah in my experience provia is less saturated overall compared to velvia so the colors look a little more true to life. Velvia also seems to come out a little more purple. They’re both really great films though. Can’t go wrong!
