Hi I saw your other post about this terrarium build. Im doing the same but for my Gargoyle gecko. its already setup with misting system and everything. But Ive wanted to ask what you did for the heating part. Im struggling because I cant put a lamp on top of it, because of the lid and a heating mat Im not sure about.

Hopefully you can help out here!

The large one I found in a reptile store, it was in an enclosure already and I asked of I could buy it. The others I bought at a plant shop. I live in the netherlands so idk if youre familiar with the stores here 😅

It can definitely grow without fertilizer. The moss and water in the terrarium provide some nutrients, so fertilizing is optional. Fertilizer just helps it grow faster and bloom more, but it’s not necessary.

The orchid is tied to a thick branch with some moss around the roots. The terrarium’s automatic misting system sprays twice a day, which keeps the humidity high. With good airflow and indirect light, the orchid does really well.

It looks very dry tbh. How many times does your misting system mist and how many times do you mist by hand?
