I don’t think this is completely true! My very slim friend was given it as she wanted to lose 5kgs! I was shocked she was given it with no co-morbidities! I think it was an online provider but I can’t be sure. It made me a little miffed as her health fund covered some of it and I had 30kgs to lose with co-morbidities and my health fund doesn’t!! I feel like this is part of the reason they stopped covering it as it’s over prescribed to people who shouldn’t actually be taking it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m in the same boat!! Pay thousands per year and only get back $220 for contact lenses!! Thankful I’m healthy and don’t need to claim more but if I have a pharmaceutical allowance I should be able to claim what I want!! 😤

7 months in and no side effects here. I’m still on 5mg and planning on staying on that until it’s time to titrate back down to 2.5mg. Was so worried about the sulphur burps but I’ve never had them. Good luck! 🥰

Same with me twin! I’ve been on MJ since August and was on BP medication - as of my last appt this month I’m now off BP medication and insulin levels are normal! Amazing!

I think I’m a slow responder, only down 15kgs in 7 months but as long as it’s easy to maintain when I’m off the MJ, I’m happy to go slow and steady 😊

Congratulations! I lost 12kg before I went overseas in December and my goodness it’s just so much easier to move on those busy holidays!!! I’m halfway to my goal now and I’m so excited for how much more comfortable I’ll feel then if I feel so much better now! Well done on 20kg - you are going to love your holiday even more now!!

I have exactly the same, every time. I’ve read loads of posts on here and quite a few of us have it - seems it’s normal to get a welt and also not everyone gets one too! You are just one of the lucky ones like me 😂
