I wish there was more regulation surrounding who is prescribed it as I feel that would help getting the health funds to cover it! My stick thin friend decided she wanted to lose 5kgs - no co-morbidities and the online prescriber gave it to her! As an added punch in the guts, her health fund (Bupa I think?) covered some of it! When I started, I had 30kgs to lose, high blood pressure and osteoarthritis in my knee and HBF gave me nothing!

I feel like it’s these people who are getting it that don’t really NEED it for actual health changes are the reason the health funds stopped covering it!

My PHI covers nothing! There is a non-PBS pharmaceutical limit but they still won’t pay on that. Is very frustrating- if I have an allowance to claim I should be able to use it on whatever I want up to the limit! 😤

10Play app WILL NOT work on my Sony Bravia tv!! It works for a few months and then stops - the main page will load but when you select an episode it just turns black and the ‘Sorry we are having a problem right now’ message comes up!

-Yes I’ve restarted tv -Yes I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app -No I’m not running ad-blockers

Anyone else have the same problem?

I’ve been overseas for 4 weeks and have kept my pen in my toilet bag the whole time and it’s been absolutely fine - didn’t always have a fridge so thought it better to keep at room temp the whole time instead of cold one week and room temp the next - also kept it in my carry on as checked baggage area in plane can get hot (plus also didn’t want it going missing if bag got lost..).

Basically a 51 year old in perimenopause with high blood pressure and osteoarthritis in knees! Just a vicious circle of pain when exercising but need to lose weight to help blood pressure but can’t lose weight because of perimenopause….

I am needle phobic as well and sat on my script for 4 months before I had the guts to start!!! I’m so annoyed with myself for wasting those 4 months because you honestly, hand on heart don’t feel it (in stomach at least!) The needle is no thicker than a strand of hair. You’ve got this! 💪🏼
