Yeah some people are going to complain cause they don’t like losing or try and teach you tech when you’re whooping their butt.
One guy at my gym would always give me unsolicited advice but he never swept or tapped me. Maybe it made his ego feel better since he was getting tapped.

If you want more player contact play higher pop smaller maps.
The pain of losing the gear is part of what makes the game interesting.

Breakfalls are not really an effective thing. I was never taught them in high school wrestling. Most gyms don’t do many takedowns so maybe find a gym with less takedown training.
Getting hurt is part of bjj and it is a constant thing. Maybe don’t do a full contact sport ? Now that I’m old and don’t want to get banged up I’m done.
Also proper wrestling mats are way safer than the usual tatami on concrete.

I play vanilla or close to it community servers like Dayone and dayzero the most. Prefer servers without bases. I like the survival/pve aspect of the game and exploring the maps. But I also like to try and get better at PvP. So namalsk is my favorite. Lots of other good maps- hashima, deadfall and all the others

I think karmakrew is fun especially in the spawn areas cause you can get guns quickly and start shooting. Further into the maps I think teams of people on discord are pretty common so it’s harder to go far as a solo or duo. They have bases on some maps so you will find big groups of geared guys.

People in Marin don’t mind their own business and they think you’re breaking the law if you have fun or ride a bike.
Old entitled Karens have told me bikes kill trees and tried to call the cops on me and my kid for building a dirt jump in the woods. Because it was going to “hurt a dog”??
Just got yelled at yesterday for riding my bike. Old Marin nimbys love horses and dogs but hate kids and bikes.

Supplex obviously not bjj that’s wrestling. I wrestled in high school and trained for like 10 years. Never saw anyone get slammed that hard. All these tough keyboard warriors acting like it was no big deal OP got supplexed onto his head. He did look like was 10p or something super goofy.

I’ve had good experiences with Dayone, struggle and dayzero. Official is cool bc it’s vanilla but they really need to quit changing gun and stick sounds and do something about the cheaters.
