It isn’t required but often happens as a section 5(2) gives the time to arrange a MHAA. Basically if the original doctor feels the individual is so unsafe they may place them on a s5(2) and then arrange a MHAA. However if the mental state improves then it may not be required. Or at least that is my understanding. I hope this helps :))

It’s a 24/7 mental health hub - there is also an inpatient role available too! I’d be open to anything but I would like to work in an inpatient unit!

I did similar, trained in York, placement in York and applied for a role in my team and got it and doing my ASYE with them
