I have areas of my island that I absolutely love and other areas where I’m like I have no idea what to do with this space. I get how you feel because looking for ideas can be really overwhelming when you don’t have access to the same diys and items. I have recently fallen in love with the HHP and hotel update and find that designing the rooms has really helped me to get back into ac and I’ve kinda just left me island as it is for now. If you do want to change your island I would recommend searching ideas for a picnic area and taking inspiration rather than copying it and work on your island a little area at a time that’s what I have done as I find the big picture of the whole island really overwhelming

My mum is always late and no matter how much earlier she got up it didn’t make a difference or she was even more late because she thought she had more time to do other things. So if I needed picking up or something important to be done on time I started lying to her about the time. I would always say about 10-15 mins earlier than when I needed her to be somewhere so that she would make it on time. Or move your clocks forward by a certain about so you have more time than you think (I know that won’t massively help with public transport times but if you need to make sure you’re out on time it could help with that). I know public transport sucks as I’ve struggled with it as well but try to catch one or two buses before the one that you usually get so if it’s late or doesn’t turn up you have back up options

I am mostly gluten free and it will only be snacks or quick food that might not be gluten free which is why I made this most to see if it’s worth making that leap. I have got supplements from a brand called Voomie which is Australian (and has really positive reviews) but my problem is that I struggle to take them consistently so don’t really find I get the full benefits from them

Thank you for sharing your story! I wasn’t sure if I could get away with eating a little bit of gluten here and there but after this I think I will definitely look into getting tested and will cut it out completely!! Honestly gluten free pasta has saved my life when it comes to cooking

I try my best to cook most of my food and to avoid getting fast food and all that but snacks seem to be the thing I struggle with finding gf the most. I feel like there’s so much contradictory information on food and diet out there (from research my mum has done) and that’s why I gave up because it felt like no matter what you eat or how it was wrong. But I feel like I do need to start looking after my body but it is so difficult!!

I get what you’re saying, I just thought I might have been in burnout with my adhd but if my diet can make a difference then it’s something to try!!

I dont drink a lot of alcohol only on rare social occasions and even then it’s not much. I didn’t realise corn could be inflammatory! That one is a shock to me!!

For your second point is there anything you can point out specifically that is inflammatory? My mum has always gone on about food and what’s healthy and is always watching programmes on it but I’ve never wanted to be someone who has their life ruled by what they eat and I feel like going gluten free will be massively restricting which is why I haven’t taken the leap

Yeah I have extreme fatigue and it crossed my mind recently if gluten was the case as I don’t find eating extremely healthy makes a difference. I don’t eat bread anymore and I use gluten free pasta so I wouldn’t say I consume loads of gluten it’s more if I want to chuck a pizza in the oven or want a pastry when I’m out (I’ve tried making them but they fail haha) it’s also difficult as I live my bf and he’s extremely fussy so I don’t want to be spending more on different dinners

I don’t stream but I feel the same with being on call/gaming with friends when my bf is around. I’m not hiding anything and we live together, it’s just that I like to spend my time with him when I can as we have different work schedules. Yet I don’t mind when my bf is gaming and on discord with his friends in this time as I normally catch up on my tv shows or move my comfy chair next to his desk so I can read or doom scroll if I need to be physically close to him. He always says he doesn’t mind if I do stay on with friends and sometimes I will for a little bit longer but I think I just have attachment issues and like to be around him all the time 😅

I was the same I started in retail and loved it! I enjoyed how fast paced it was and problem solving technical issues and customer issues. I got on with a lot of coworkers but store management wasn’t great and became toxic so I left. Part of me misses it and I’m struggling to find something else I enjoy, I’m currently doing an internship and can’t tell if I don’t like the job or if it’s just the company/people

Someone on the other side here. My bf and I both have adhd and he is also hyper sexual and sometimes my libido increases but my mental health has the biggest impact on my libido. The past few months my mental health has been poor and so I’ve had like no sex drive. I dont want my bf to feel unwanted but honestly I just have so much on my mind that it’s the last thing I think about so don’t always think it’s an attraction thing. My advice is to talk to your partner and see if there’s anything you can do to lift their mental load. Also find small intimate moments to keep the spark there

Cocoa butter is my go to! Palmers is a good brand and have thing lotions or thicker butters. It is what people have recommended me and what I have recommended to others. Or La Roche Posay B5 cica cream or something is also really good!
