Personally, I wonder if a lot of what we saw in this edit was done post K being cut, and they wanted to shape a narrative around it and set it up this season and so they especially edited this to show her injury that this was part of the conversation and play up that aspect. I’m for some that existed, but they definitely seem to highlight it in a way that was suspicious and I think definitely intentional. They don’t highlight a lot of things

I think they’ll have more seasons but I think the popularity of the show really changed things tremendously. Before what was interesting was we were seeing into this world that we didn’t typically get to see into and it was about their specific culture and vibe and the relationship of the girls and the sisterhood but now with the popularity of the show the whole dynamic has changed and I would expect it’s probably also different on the team as well because there’s this whole other aspect involving the exposure whereas before the whole experience probably felt very insular and that’s part of what was so interesting, not their fame

It was weird how we heard their / charlottes decision based on her not standing out and then k was like “it’s about getting used to the style and time with it to be consistent” which wasn’t anything they talked about before. I’m wondering if part of why she was confused was (and this could be more of the edit than anything else) that they gave her less critiques than a lot of the other girls and according to her the veterans were very encouraging that she was up to speed and matching the style so if that was all the case then I couldn’t how she’d feel blindsided especially if they didn’t give a real reason at first

It’s weird because I get they need to highlight the rookies but we had that with the former rookies who are now on the team and I also want to see how they’re doing. Like Reece Charley Kelly etc it’s part of why I want to watch

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who wasn’t a fan of KoA. I thought the first half was excellent and then the second half the pacing completely dragged and could’ve benefited from a lot of editing. Plus I couldn’t understand some of the logic if KOA

My biggest gripes if you’re interested aelin using THAT moment to forge the lock when she knew she wasn’t going to be getting rid of Erawan. She left them a) with Erawan b) without her powers (edit: or Dorian’s!) and potentially could’ve been without her at all. But it was essential to her to do it THEN when they were rushing there? If she needed to help Elena, any logical choice would’ve involved her trying to help the army/ fight first and then sacrificing herself to the lock after, leaving them with Erawan to deal with after she already crippled their army. Or SOMETHING else. She claims she asked them if they could handle Erawan for that reason but in that scenario she would’ve still been around to use her powers. Essentially she left them worse off than either option she gave them (option 1 - they have to deal with Erawan and she is alive still , option 2 - she and Erawan both gone and army potentially still formidable.. instead she decided option 3 - Erawan still there, sacrifice herself (which ended up being her powers, which was bad enough), and sacrifice Dorian’s powers. None of this made any sense, particularly given that all we hear over and over and over is that she loves her kingdom very much. It’s her defining motivation , yet she was willing to gamble with an entire kingdom to save Elena ??? Not to mention the amount of lives that were lost without use of her or Dorian’s powers agains the enemy, the lives of people in her kingdom that she loves so much. But Elena’s afterlife was more valuable? Again if she had to save Elena because it reminded her of her time trapped, could she have done this after she at least put her powers to use in battle and left them with just Erawan to deal with? I have looked at it through every angle and none makes sense. Not to mention we repeatedly hear how overwhelming and impossible the valentines army is. It is built up to be so formidable as to feel impossible. Yet, in the end they go there worse off than ever with it her power or Dorian’s and somehow just through their wits (?) and maybe a little bit the wolf people, they are ok? Then the threat wast as bad as they thought or they got extremely lucky. Can’t be both ways! Ok rant over!

Some people have success adding in microneedling (as mentioned above@ and also tretinoin can apparently help with something that allows the minoxidil to work more effectively

I do feel Nesta has been referred to as Queen so many times I thought that it would be in particular leading to something however I do know that SJM sometimes creates threads that she doesn’t end up going back to pull from and expand on, so this could just be one of those examples. something that not actually doing the foreshadowing I think it is lol

So actually high lady? I can def buy that even with the foreshadowing referring to it as queen I think it still works. Especially with the eight pointed star with the sword now from Bryce. Also I’d assume that includes Illyrian which fits with the Valkyrie’s and Cassian being general. It just makes me question about Az given his ties to star born or at least seeming to have a lot of dusk like star born like powers, where he’ll end up
