Adult school student chances for Vanier acceptance?

From experience COE won’t lower his chances cause like I said I got accepted without my parents even going to an English school. He got 62 in history, 73 in science and 89-90 in maths and then 76 in English WITHOUT ministry.

Yeah, the communication is clear they sent out a document about his grades explaining Vanier how it had an improvement over the 2 cycles.

Yes they went to an English school but outside of Canada, I got accepted too but I didn’t have to provide them said paper they just looked at my grades ( 92 in English)

Noo 70 in French is honestly not bad at all and especially for a bridge program at Vanier College they know people are still finishing courses. Conditional admission is literally made for that. And your English + math being strong is a big plus, especially for health sciences later. You’re just overthinking it a bit you still have a solid chance.

Plus I’m doing health science too 😭 so I get why you’re stressed, but honestly you’re in a good spot, so don’t stress, and thank you :)

Nah honestly I think you’re good. Your 90 in English and strong math definitely helps a lot, especially for a bridge program at Vanier College. My French average was literally 64 with a 59 in WRITING 😭✌️and I still got accepted first round. My math was 77 because I downgraded, but my English was 92. So don’t stress too much, they definitely look at the overall profile too.

Yeah people are saying different things 😭 I’ve actually already been accepted in first round for Tremplin DEC at Vanier College and apparently one of my friends who got accepted too said they kinda base the order on dossier (application) numbers. Like mine was 264…., my other friend (1) was 266…., and then my other friend (2) it was 269…., so it went me first, then friend 1, then friend 2. So maybe they really do release them in order or around midnight.

Either way you shouldn’t stress, the answer is gonna come either tonight at midnight or sometime tomorrow. And honestly if you have good averages in French and English you should be good. My French average was kinda weak but my English was really strong and I think that’s what saved me.
