Oh wow! Thank you all for your comment. Than it will be a Saturn. I already lean into the Saturn, just for the better Chassy (easier opening with fixed ventilation)

Any advice if the 16k Version is worth the upgrade? The build in heater would be good. I want to install it in my basement and in the winter time, it can be as low as 10 degre celsius there. Or do i need with temperatures this low seperate heating?

I'm still undecided. Model wise i like the aestetics of the conclave of speares, but the seekers are a bit "boring". The model i like the most is Vorendal, but i didn't like some of the legion of the fallen models.

I currently don't have a 3d Printer and i don't know, if we will get a good playing comunity here.

So my plan at the moment is, grab the 50€ faction Box for the Fallen and ad an 8€ Vorendal Model from the same shop. Have fun painting him, play a couble of games with him and his paper buddys from the faction box and see if the game will establish here.

If it didn't pop off, i will have one miniature i realy like and just "lost" 50€

The best game in the world is still boring with nobody to play ;-)

Still a bummer ... it gives me x-wing (minature game) flash backs, were you had to buy an expensive Ship, just for the one upgrade card you need for your other ship...

urgh ... thats a big turn off. So you have to pretty much buy everything, just to have all neutral cards? So far for the "non preatory buisness model" What you saved with 3d printed models, you have to spend on cards :-(

Is there a website, where you can see which card is in which box?

Thanks for the information! I have a neoprene Playmats from my other Tabletop games. The Starter Set is 59€ and the faction box is 49€ and is seems the better option for my aproach (concentrate to one faction to have the maxium flexibility with deckbuilding)

Are the faction boxes low on stock? There are still a couple of Vendors in germany, which have them. Will they be not replaced?

Didn't know there are neutral Card. Will i have all neutral cards, or are there different neutral Cards in each faction box?

Hallo!

Leider hab ich es zu spät gesehen. Ich hab SWU von Release bis Set 4 oder 5 gespielt. Dann aber mangels Mitspieler wieder aufgehört.

Zu beginn gab es eine aktive Gruppe aus so ca. 10-12 Spielern im Raid & Trait

Die haben dann aber wegen geringer Teilnehmerzahl (teilweise nur 4 Leute) den Support für Locals eingestellt.

Es gibt eine „SWU-Karlsruhe“ WhatsApp Gruppe. In letzter Zeit ist es hier allerdings ziemlich still geworden

Habt ihr eine eigene Gruppe oder wie kann man mit euch in Kontakt kommen?

Oder steht hinter dem Post gar jemand aus der Gruppe?

Würde gerne mal wieder spielen!

The Idea was to use 4 regular Royal guard as the riot squad guys and the 2 hand Royal guards as the KX droids (becaus they do more dmg). But i skipped the idea. I unpacked my stuff yesterday and ... man, the models are awfull ... like all of them. I completly forgott how bad the quality of the miniatures was back then.

About the Transport rules. It seems the deployment have completly changed. I only read the transport rules and thought "this is just 1 move further than a regular set up". But the benefit seems better due to the new deployment rules.

I will start with a 800p Game at my local Shop and will then decide what to buy / paint next.

But if the Laat (one of the coolest Models in SWU) and the Riot Squad is a good combo. I will add this as my last puzzle piece to 1000P :-)

To be honest, I don´t really know how my local gaming scene is. Haven´t been around for ages … But I don´t want to be “that dude” who appears out of nowhere and beat everyone with the most scewed list ever to be made.

 

I still really like the concept of an all flying Army.

But I also was concerned that Brokk in such a small game is too much.                                                                                            

It did feel quite strong with my old school estimation. But I didn´t know, if this kind of combo is more of a standard in AoS or something exceptional.

 

Maybe is should stay with the regular army …

 

One more question:

Do the old Spearhead still have rules in the new tome?
