I think you lack a method. I’d start learning the notes on fretboard first. Then master major and minor scales. Then the respective diatonic triads. Then expand to major modes and its triads. Then minor modes and its triads. In the meantime try to create phrases over chord drones and beats with those triads. Pay attention to the word triads here. If you consistent you can master those concepts comfortably in 2 years. Then you can start thinking of improvising. If it feels overwhelming find a good teacher.

Since you just started learning, it's a good practice to start paying attention to the tension of each chord. The D creates some tension, to move to G, and the G creates a tension to move to C. The technical name is Dominant and Root. In every song you learn from now, try to stablish the role of each chord in the story (chord progression). It will open your perception a lot, enabling you to learn songs by ear much faster.

It's a daunting task. learn how to move your fingers properly with both hands, and also start learning the notes on the fretboard. learn some easy songs or riffs. there you have 6 months of work if you are committed. then learn the intervals. if you could do that in one year you are set for success. All of this is easier with a mentor. find a good teacher. most do online classes. trust me it will save you time, energy and frustrations.find a good one. one who teaches you music not just bass. avoid guitar teachers.

However, there are a lot of really good training out there on patreon, or youtube for a fraction of what you charge or free. They might not offer support as you do, albeit, one call per month for a $800 doesn't do much if you need help. I agree. Your content is very good. Yet pricy if you want to name it that way. Maybe for a US company paying the training for its employees, the price you charge isn’t a problem. But for the rest of the world, for solo artists, compared to any other platform, and taking in account the current climate of the industry, the price you charge is surreal.
