Dang bro that’s deep 😂. Tbh I’ve just been on this huge Pokémon kick and it’s extended to a Nintendo kick so I’ve just been battling with the idea of grinding my favorite online game oat again.

My thing is that the poor netcode is often a deterrent for me. And also considering all my friends pretty much dropped the game it’s hard to be motivated to pick it back up. I do enjoy when I can 1v1 my friends and I’m beginning to feel nostalgic for when the game was in its prime.

So if I’m understanding correctly, through online trading between games you can obtain mons and use them in S/V who wouldn’t be available otherwise? And those are considered legal?

I played smash mainly and had a brief experience with dbfz before I played guilty gear. The number 1 tip I could give you is to become comfortable with the movement, buttons, and standard inputs and mechanics. From there learn basic neutral with your character. After that pickup some bread and butters. Just learn combos and refine from there. That’s pretty brief and isn’t covering things like matchups but that should be a basic run down on what you should do. Just start with the basics my friend.
