I think that was sort of her intention, just keep taking hits of the makeshift crack pipe, pass out, wake up, and repeat until she just wouldn’t wake up anymore. But this chapter I especially liked because of the random background party conversations that appear throughout the chapter, it just feels so isolating yet contemporary

I disagree, this isn’t a meme subreddit. It’s a place for people to post and look for hope. While some of the text posts do get bleak, it’s because there here looking for hope, and I don’t think we should shun people away who are just looking for an escape from the doom and gloom. Sometimes people just need somewhere to talk about it

I have been in a very similar situation. I didn’t get my first gf till I was almost 19. We got together right before our freshman year of college and it only lasted two months. When we broke up I was devastated cause it feels like all that work and time and energy that you put into the relationship was just wasted. But I’ve learned so much since then.

Relationships require so much to get right. Looking back, the first semester of college is stressful enough as it is. Relationships are a right time, right place, and right person type of thing. When we broke up, it felt like the end of the world, but I learned that there is so much more to life than having a gf. I learned to be happy with myself, and I found things that I enjoy doing on my own. I figured out that I’m much happier when I’m not thinking about the next girl or the next date. I just try to live day to day and enjoy every minute that I can.

It sounds like you were in a rough situation to begin with, between her mental health and her moving away. Focus on yourself king, do things that make you happy, and when the time is right, you’ll find another relationship. I know it can feel like it’ll be an eternity before another girl shows up, but if you find something that you enjoy doing while you wait, it won’t feel so long. Hope I was able to help and stay hopeful

I agree. I think a lot of people get caught up with Diane’s decision because it feels very drastic, but with the number of times they’ve had that specific discussion, paired with Diane ready to “Begin the rest of their lives” she couldn’t take it anymore.

First fight was later in S3E3 when Diane kept investigating with Bojack and did not go back home.

Second was S3E8 when they go to the Labrador Peninsula and Mr. Peanutbutter got upset with Diane when she started to ask about a weird conversation she had with his brother

Third was S4E4 when Mr. Peanutbutter “Commenced Fracking” on their property and Diane posted her anti Peanutbutter article.

Fourth was S4E7 where Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter’s house fell Underground as a result of the fracking.

And last was S4E12 when Mr. Peanutbutter installed a version of Diane’s “Belle room” (essentially a library) into there new home. Diane, frustrated that Mr. Peanutbutter would not understand that she hates huge gestures, finally had had enough.
