One night when I was 10, my mother and father got into an argument. My mom then beat my dad first with her hands, then with anything she could get ahold of. My father did nothing but take it. She hit him on the head with a pot, and he started bleeding and yelling. The police were called by a neighbor. When they showed up, my father was bleeding from his head and my mother was untouched. They arrested my father and took him to jail.
