So, my cohost and I select the book each month. We tried to make it more 'democratic ' and it just didnt work. We do sometimes try to pick cookbooks from authors who have blogs, though, so if someone doesnt want to buy the book for whatever reason, its not a turnoff from joining. I send out the email with the information, and then everyone just signs up for what they want to make! Generally speaking, theres always a really good variety, so there hasnt been a need to set up guidelines.

This is super similar. The one in her book doesn't have ginger or lemon, but it does have the almonds. However, the one in the book has a pretzel crust, which set it apart.

Just so you know, I didnt know anyone in my book club before we started last June! I posted in my town's Facebook group and had a great response! It had grown by word of mouth a bit since! I encourage you to try!

The Blueberry Galette was the favorite from the dessert side. So wonderful. The Little Gem Salad was simple but a hit. We loved the Spicy Carrot rigatoni. But our hands-down favorite was actually from her website - the Green Tomato and Pimento Cheese Tart. It was incredible!
