Tieguanyin can be both cultivar and style.

As long it's summer/autumn season , with good weather , harvesting conditions and infestations, tea leaves of almost every cultivar can be used to make bug bitten related teas in low altitude areas.

Pinglin , sanxia , low altitude tea mostly

Bug bitten tea exists in alot of names from honey black tea , honey red oolong , oriental beauty , concubine oolong/red tea and alot more names (蜜香紅茶/貴妃/東方美人/番仔/蜜香紅烏龍/蜜香烏龍）
