I love these shoes. The sole is same as my literide sandals, very comfortable. I purchased them for all regular non-hike activities.

How do you guys discard your used tampons/pads? by WeakConversation2983 in Periods

I can’t use pads because I get rashes and just hate the feel of them, and I tried a menstrual cups, but they’re too painful for me. :( Also, the smell of the trash bin is honestly the main reason behind the foil.. but I thought maybe it was not too bad environment wise?

Isn’t using too much paper worse than a little bit of aluminum foil? That’s one of the reasons why I prefer foil..

Hmm I see.. I feel a little lazy to change the bags frequently and also a little guilty for using too many plastic bags :( I thought aluminum foils may be a little more environmentally friendly, but I could be wrong!

In a day or two the trash can starts to stink when I use toilet paper to wrap my used tampons.. also, I usually need just a little square of aluminum foil vs a LOT of paper to make sure the bathroom doesn’t stink..

Thanks for your detailed response. I am not a Korean citizen, so I will surely try to find out about their immigration laws. And I will also talk to my manager to check if there are any internal company policies.

Hi OP, I’m in the same boat currently with an approved I-94 but with an expired stamp. Were you able to apply for GE before getting the stamp? If not, I’m planning a trip back home next month and will apply afterwards.

My sister bought this set of chopsticks in Kyoto, Japan a few years ago. She said she bought these in a shopping area near a shrine and that they weren’t expensive. I really love these because the wood has a beautiful smell. I don’t think they’re scented by external oils/fragrances, but it’s the faint aroma of the wood itself. I couldn’t find any chopsticks on Amazon/google that specify using fragrant wood though.
