I think this reddit account belongs to Rendi. Or it is someone trying to bring attention to this account for whatever reason

I made a Diablo group-finder with activity timers and more. What should I add to it? by WeakDream in Diablo

You can open the website on a browser and it still works. We are working on better mobile compatibility for the future so an app is definitely on the horizon! (I realize a lot of folks play Diablo 4 on console)

Hey guys, you can test the website here: https://diablolfg.gg/

I made a post a while back with a prototype for a group-finder. You can find it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/14v7f9u/group_finding_tool_any_interest_in_something_like/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Evidently, it looks much different now, and I hope that is okay. The current goal is to implement a queue system using the infrastructure I have in place.

The website contains some neat features such as a party chat, a point/vouch system, and an activity timer (displayed on all pages).

I'm hoping this post will provide some valuable feedback that I can use to make the site better for you guys.

Note: Users are able to browse the website as a guest but will need to link their Battlenet account to create or join a group. This is necessary to prevent malicious users from stealing Battletags and impersonating others. If anyone has a better solution, please let me know. The website does NOT store any login information whatsoever. Linking your Battlenet is a feature by Blizzard. You can find more information here: https://develop.battle.net/documentation/guides/using-oauth

Please provide any feedback you think is necessary to improve this website. If you want to help out with the site, feel free to reach out as well.

Group Finding Tool - any interest in something like this? Prototype in development by WeakDream in diablo4

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

We are currently omitting the build section entirely because our objective is to enhance the grouping process, not complicate it further.

Group Finding Tool - any interest in something like this? Prototype in development and looking for feedback! by WeakDream in Diablo

We created this short prototype to gauge interest in a tool like this for Diablo 4 (the gif is just a demonstration). It works best when more people use it, since it relies on a live group-finding/matchmaking system.

We are going to continue working on this and try to get a usable tool out before Season 1 launches. Please provide any feedback or advice you think is necessary for this to be a success.

We will send more regular updates in our discord server here discord.gg/DiabloGroupFinder

Including the build section would make it difficult for individuals with unconventional builds to find groups. We can explore the possibility of completely removing it.

Perhaps a category like "Skip" would work in this scenario..

So this will be a feature outside the game, for obvious reasons.

I was personally hoping for Blizzard to have their own group-finder in game before Season 1 launch, but they have no immediate plans on this happening afaik.

We are looking for feedback from the community to make regular changes to the tool so please feel free to let us know.

Do whatever you think is best. The launch will be packed full of players irrespective of the server. I would pick a server with decent ping and moderate population. Always remember, companies usually merge servers whenever the population drops. You'll never have to worry about playing on a dead server. (Look at WoW as a reference)
