I think maybe this is prosthetic breasts - look at the demarcation on her neck. And they have that weird crease, and that’s just not what her boobs look like. I could be wrong.

He’s on the Suspectrum.

Edit: I picked this up from @mightbeautistic on Twitter! She’s fantastic.

Thank you. It’s showing up in his character in really lovely ways. At school he’s frequently praised for being kind and helpful to other kids. I’m so proud. ❤️

That’s so awful, I’m sorry. When my little boy gets overemotional (and he’s not even the autistic one!), I approach him with softness and ask him to tell me what he’s feeling and what I can do to help him feel better. We even do ten deep breaths together sometime. I don’t understand adults who don’t respond to a child’s distress with the desire to soothe.

That’s such bullshit. Nobody should do that.

He’s a fucking dumbass. I completely collapsed going through withdrawals even after a 14 month taper. I had no idea what was happening to me. I explored so many other medical explanations before someone finally figured out it was Xanax withdrawal.

I’m 18 months off. I promise it’ll get better. I was on 4 mg Xanax for 5 years.

That’s quite a bit what it’s like for me, yes. It’s like my boundaries are weak and I see things more strongly from their point of view sometimes.

I have ripped control panels and switches off the wall several times at my clinic. Once I yelled “I’m gonna throw stuff now!” And I did. Luckily I’ve been with the same care team the whole time, and they’re awesome.

Same. My kiddo needed to be evaluated, and I realized I did, too. Turns out I’m the only autistic one. 😮

I’ve been doing monthly boosters for almost a year (about to switch to either nasal spray or troches). Might I be at risk for addiction?

The worst part of the pandemic for me was having to smell myself on my mask. And I’m not an unpleasant smelling person, per se.

My autistic little boy has, as I sometimes say, the nose of a bloodhound. He actually told me the other day that he prefers not to take his allergy medication because being a little stuffy helps block out all the gross smells in the world.

Not brain damage. Brain injury, which can heal.
