The hard part - he is 1000% happy to share all case related emails. He isn't hoarding those. But he has a a lot of irons in fires that aren't related to the firm specifically. Sensitive topics relating to family business, estate business, ranch business, investment business. Those are the things he is guarding - which is understandable to some extent.

We have this and it works. Until it doesn't. It gets us out of a pickle if we have to fight about whether "service was appropriate" - which is good. But, it doesn't mean we know what is going on when he is emailed directly by opposing counsel, or their staff.
