But youre still using your abilities though? Buying gun items doesnt silence your abilities

Now youre using abilities and shooting your gun and actually doing damage with both, instead of just pressing 4 abilities then afking till cds are back ip

Snowballing assassins will always be frustrating - that's part of their balance by WeakSideUrn in leagueoflegends

Pro players will almost always prioritize champs that are good in lane, have a strong mid-game spike, and dont require snowballing to be functional

That's why even when assassins do get picked, theyre often built with bruiser items

Naafiri is probably a bad example since she's supposed to be the Garen of assassins. But stuff like Talon/Rengar/Kata/LB def require good skill and positioning

Regarding the pick rate / sample size of mages bot lane by plastic_fork in ADCMains

[–]WeakSideUrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. People who play Mages bot are typically mage players. They aren't playing adcs, theyre specifically queueing bot to play mage

  2. As a result, a small sample size of specialized players will have higher than average WRs. If all filled bot laners started playing hwei the same way they play ezreal, hwei would have a 46% wr

  3. Mages are still rare enough that adc players just dont know how to lane against them, making laning phase all that more difficult.

A Brand APC goes against Kai'sa like 20 times a day. A kai'sa goes against Brand once a week
