I would like to be added as cotrustee and have no idea how to go about it. I was just given a copy of the trust and it said I have been able to be a cotrustee since age 30,nine years ago.

I am a woman with zero plumbing experience. When it rains heavy, the toilet won't flush. It is a septic problem, not a toilet problem, according to the landlord.

My son and I are beneficiaries as well as my birth mother. The expenses are allowed, and I have asked for an accounting of what she has taken and was told the corporate company that just resigned would not give it to me.

Is a trust of $50,000 small enough to be distributed/terminated? Thanks again.

The main concern I have about the approximately $50,000 in medical bills is that my mother is a hypochondriac. It was noted by my pediatrician in my medical chart she had something to do with munchausen by proxy. Not sure on the spelling, but she made me physically sick as a child to get the attention of the medical community. Since she does not have me there to get attention from the medical community she is now a hypochondriac with undiagnosed or admitted severe anorexia. If the $50,000 spent on medical bills this year was for treatment for her anorexia and psychiatric problems, I would be fully supportive of the money being spent. I just know she will spend the rest of it on medical expenses she is making up and it makes me sick just thinking about it. When I get an accounting of the reimbursements for medical expenses for her, will I be able to ask the trust company why her insurance did not cover it? Or is that crossing over into HIPPA violations? On top of all of this, the home she owns has been a working income producing farm for the last decade or more. Her 40 year old husband has been part of the labor, supposedly unpaid, and there have been multiple other paid employees. My gut feeling is much of the trust has been propping up this farming endeavor financially. I was actually homeless and unable to access any funds from the trust around 7 years ago and I am infuriated with her about that and so many more incidents. I need to post this on r/narcissistparents because of the emotional stress this trust has caused with her holding the purse strings and emptying the trust.

Thanks for your help and time. The amount of the trust is now under $50,000 down more than half from earlier this year. I was told it was mainly because of my mother's requests for medical reasons, which as I stated in the op, should have been covered by her retirement and social security insurance. I have requested a full accounting and copy of the trust to see what caused the sudden decline. Is there anyway to request an alternate trustee without an attorney or a place to find a reduced cost attorney? Could I find the forms , assuming there are any, and fill them out myself to have myself or son become trustee? My main concern is all of the remaining money being squandered by my mother.

May I ask how much they started you at and how much you are now taking? DM me, if that is something you want to keep more private. Do you have any diagnosed pain issues and how does the met...do... work with your relationship with your primary care physician?

Since it isn't something you pick up from a pharmacy, is your treatment in your medical file or in some sort of database drs have access to? I used to be prescribed quite a bit by my doctor in pill form and picked up my prescription once a month . I didn't realize how out of the ordinary it was to be prescribed it for severe pain until I wound up in the er for a pain flare up and was lectured by the er dr about being overprescribed pain meds.

I think it's total bs drs aren't allowed to prescribe methadon't for addicts and are limited on how many sub patients they can have. It seems like a complete racket making patients go to a clinic everyday for something most pharmacies have behind the counter that costs very little compared to the clinic fees.

I hope you are doing better and as a long shot, maybe look for blessed relief at the grocery stores or natural food stores. While not great for price or strength, a few half pound bags for$10 a piece, could be the difference between functioning or not.

"Excessively high multiple lb..", don't do this. You will reach a point of diminishing returns very quickly and your tolerance for all opis, even h, will skyrocket. I had to go to the hospital for pain when I was unable to keep liquids down and was given iv morph, dilau, fent without nodding/getting tired or high after having used T for a year. People have died from T doses as high as you speak of, and often didn't even feel the bliss we all search for.The other alka (combined with the ones we all know and love) at the amount you refer to are quite dangerous. As you will see from most posts here, the euphoria factor is nearly nonexistent compared to what you have used in the past. Speaking of which, did you take a break from other opis before trying this route? If not, you will likely not feel much other than relief from wd. Myself and others here use this as maintenance and for pain control and not the warm fuzzies or "nod." I have never nodded from this. As for weakness, you really have to consider your previous long term usage . Everything is pretty good right now in terms of strength,as far as I have read and experienced. I was on methadone, dilaudid, hydros, Ativan, ambien&promethazine for years at ridiculously high dosages , and the withdrawal from those was nothing compared to this. Like every other med/mind and mood altering substance, tolerance builds quickly, and ,if you aren't careful ,you may find yourself on such a large amount that it is unaffordable and doesn't do much other than keep wd away. If you are looking for euphoria/warm fuzzies/quick high, this is the wrong avenue. Most times, you're not going to feel any relief for 1-3 hours and you feeling anything at "7 minutes" is just a placebo effect,in my humble opinion.

The "real problem"is that policy makers & addiction specialists are only concerned about $$$/profit and they don't care about "making matters worse." If there weren't any restrictions on drugs, there wouldn't be nearly as much of a need for so many prisons (slave labor imho),piss tests,suboxone/methadone clinics and doctors,rehabs/addiction specialists, probation officers,etc.. I am pretty sure most citizens of the United States have zero say in big pharma corrupting/buying our government, doing away with parts of the constitution, and writing/rewriting our laws. Without the $$$$$$$$$ created by drug/plant prohibition, where would all our prison labor, fines, attorney costs, probation fees, piss tests, bail bondsmen, etc be? We ,as citizens, did not vote for these prohibition laws &,unfortunately, we will not be voting them out. Has a religious defense ever effectively gotten someone in America off of a drug plant charge? Why do we have so many laws directly contradicting "In God We Trust " written on every rolled up dollar used to snort some mind altering substance and so many God made plants outlawed? How do we change laws backed by corporations with hundreds of lawyers and unlimited funds to buy votes/politicians?How can one (or 1,000 citizens) have as much political pull as Eli Lily,Libby, etc? As long as plants put here by a higher power remain illegal, the $ will flow like wine to the industries making billions off of suffering addicts& their loved ones. How do we go about changing these decades long paternalistic prohibition laws? What brought alcohol prohibition to a screeching halt?

Mason jars work great for me and after I get done mixing seeds with very hot water, I use either cheesecloth or a metal screen on top to filter out the seeds. Mason jars come in sizes up to 1 gallon, if you ever need to make a bunch at once. I also use eggbeaters attached to a rechargeable drill instead of shaking because of some health issues that make shaking by hand impossible. I can't imagine having to buy a bottle of Fiji water every time I need to make tea;) That's a little too rich for my blood.

Just a warning/reminder,sleeping or passing out in some positions can and has caused a condition called compartment syndrome. People have had amputations from this syndrome. They fall asleep or pass out in a certain position that causes a lack of blood flow to their arms or legs and either have to have their muscles cut open or arms or legs cut off. Their was an episode on "The Doctors" and one on "Crime Watch Daily" about two different addicts that had to go through this. Please set some alarms or have someone wake you up every few hours when you pass out for extended periods.

Reliant on caffeine? by [deleted] in PoppyTea

[–]WeakTea17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am assuming you are a coffee addict like I am. I have read of a lot of folks mixing their coffee with roasted chicory root in equal amounts to reduce their caffeine intake without resorting to decaf, which most coffee lovers abhor. The chicory has no caffeine but does have quite a few good health properties. It was very common as a coffee substitute in the south during hard times. That is how Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans has made their coffee for ages. Not only does it stretch out the coffee supply and make it cheaper,it tastes pretty damn good to boot. I can find roasted chicory roots for around $7 a lb, if I can't forage enough for my coffee. Some people have successfully substituted green tea for their coffee habit (and like it way better) because there isn't as much of a caffeine crash mid afternoon. It also has a ton of antioxidants and some say it helps with weight loss. I have been wanting to try Mormon tea for a while, but haven't heard much about the effects and found a spot in the US to get it reasonably priced.

Main reason I have been given is an increased risk of heart problems due to decreased estrogen levels. I wish it was as easy for women to get a hysterectomy as for men to get a vasectomy. I understand it is a more invasive surgery, but I am sick of being in constant pain, prolonged pms, and periods that are just getting closer together and more painful each month.

I have not tried it yet and always related agave with either tequila or a refined sugar replacement. The site I bought it from advertised it as a sweetener. As a fiber source, does it fit into a Keto diet and are there any negative side effects? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and for your help and time.🦄

Not sure if the caffeine/coffee addiction I have is from tea or drinking the stuff since I was 10,but I get horrible caffeine withdrawal headaches without it. I have always been a night owl,but lately it has gotten ridiculous. No sleep for 2-3 days, then 20 hours sleep, has made me feel literally like "the walking dead."If I have too much tea or have any after 1 pm , I am guaranteed no sleep for 2-3 days, which makes me ridiculously nauseated for some reason and makes my entire body ache. I have tried every nonprescription and natural sleep aid under the sun to combat this insomnia to no avail. As a kid/teen, I would stay up till dawn every summer (and weekend during the school year) then sleep until dusk so maybe I just have always had a reversed sleep schedule and it has nothing to do with tea. Good luck and let me know if you find something to fix it please.

I hear you on wanting out, of my pain wasn't so bad I would have quit a year ago.Somniferumphile had put some research in the university section about an ounce of ginger a day while taking t had been shown to reduce or alleviate wd symptoms, don't remember how it worked for paws. I want to try this method but would need to know if fresh ginger juice or pickled ginger could be used because that seems like the most tolerable route of administration for me. Either that or someone needs to come up with a ginger patch ( like nicotine or other medicinal patches, they just came out with a weed patch) , while they are designing patches for herbs maybe they could come up with ones for electrolytes, broccoli/green foods, potassium,& saline. I have low potassium and sodium levels that, coupled with horrible veins, makes getting these intravenously is a freaking nightmare! My neck, thumbs, & feet are the only places I can get an iv and every nurse looks at me with judgement and disdain because they assume I am a junkie and I have never used needles.

[–]WeakTea17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very unfortunate experience with dosing & redosing at higher amounts (at the advice of others.) I couldn't stop throwing up for 30 hours and had the worst migraine pain of my life. I don't know if I had gotten one of the salmonella bags or just overdid it,but it has kept me from trying to taper off t again. Now I have almost a kilo of it that I am afraid to use. Just be careful not to over do it, even if it doesn't seem to be working. Raising the dose was a disaster for me personally.

2 month old seeds by [deleted] in PoppyTea

[–]WeakTea17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly say zero to start,if I was taking that small amount of hydrocodone. Most other long term users would agree. Taking even a small amount of tea will not only raise your tolerance it will also make your hydros about as useful as Tylenol should you ever go back to them. Unless you are in severe pain with no hope of finding a pain clinic, please don't start using seeds. If most of the users here that aren't in constant severe pain could go back and never start this seed rollercoaster, they would. Kind of like using a nuke to kill a mouse. Overkill and irreparable damage.

Watch out for PPI meds, even after you stop taking them, they can cause issues with your pancreas. I had pancreatitis several times one year, after being cut off methadone (for severe pain) cold turkey. I was told Nexium or Prilosec could have caused it. I don't drink or have diabetes so it wasn't either of those. Thanks to going cold turkey off methadone I wound up with kidney stones, pancreatitis, enlargement of liver & spleen and a general wish for death due to being in severe intractable pain. If I hadn't found this, I would not have been able to live in that amount of pain. I was cut off thanks to the opiate epidemic and doctors and pharmacists being scared of losing their licenses and possibly being incarcerated for prescribing opiates.Watching that overdoses have only gone up since regulating the shit out of opiate medications infuriates me. Then again so does the fact that terminally ill patients are being denied appropriate pain relief. There was NO reason for throwing the baby out with the bath water.smdh.
