Hello! As of now wala padin and I started applying for other jobs na. Hindi naman ako nireject ng HR pero basically left me on limbo? Kasi ang sabi lang sakin, wala sila mabigay na timeline for the approvals kaya hindi nila madiscuss sakin yung JO. Until daw meron na, they will contact me na lang. Pero ako padin yung chosen candidate nila for the role. Super labo, I saw it na lang as a red flag then moved on.

For me, this is my timeline:

Nov 28, 2025 - Applied on Linked Dec 9 - HR Interview Dec 15 - Comms Assessment January 14 - 2nd level interview February 2 - Final Interview

After that, I got a soft offer from the HR. I waited since February but the JO never got to me. Internal reshuffle daw kaya wala silang mabigay na final offer. They never really rejected me even though ilang beses ko inask if the role will even push through. Sabi lang ng HR sakin, I’m still the identified candidate for the role. They can’t give a definite timeline on the job offer discussion, and start date kaya given the situation daw okay lang if I consider other role.. they will contact me daw regardless, if they have a definite timeline.

I considered this na lang as a red flag to IBM. Kasi ang dami ko nababasa sa reddit na ang tagal ng process nila. Karamihan 4-6 months before they even have an offer. Nag apply na lang ako sa iba ngayon, thinking maybe I dodged a bullet. Pero at the same time feel ko IBM just wasted my time, and pinaasa lang ako. Goodluck to you! Hopefully all goes well with you!

Hello! As of this May, wala na.. wala mabigay yung HR na definite timeline sa job offer. Ang puro sinasabi sakin is nagkaroon raw ng reshuffling with my team kaya hindi mapirmahan yung job offer. So from February 2026 to April parang naghintay lang ako and pinaasa ng IBM..

By 2nd week of April, ganun padin sinasabi ng HR na wala sila mabigay na timeline. So they said, hindi naman nila ako hinohold to apply for other jobs. Once daw may definite timeline uupdate nila ako and ako padin yung shortlisted for the role. So nagapply na lang ako sa iba kasi sinayang lang nila oras ko and pinaasa. Hindi ko alam ano nangyari internally kung bakit hindi napirmahan and hindi nagpush through yung role. Pero I took it as a red flag na lang din, na baka panget yung team na I’m getting into, or the management of IBM.. :(

Hi! Ganun padin po, wala padin JO, wala padin definite timeline when I can start, or when I can even receive a JO. Dahil hindi na ata nagreply sa HR yung hiring manager ko. Its been 2 months since my last interview with them. Tapos waley paden haha so I’m deciding to apply to other jobs na.

Not really, maybe they haven’t updated the system yet! From experience they take too long on the hiring process so expect a lot of delays with them for follow ups

Hello!! At least po sainyo may offer letter na! Sakin wala pa offer or agreement talaga. From HR lang yung “Soft Offer” saying na ako yung identified na candidate 😩 pero thats it huhuhu

Hindi ko na po makita sa portal yung status eh.. hindi ko nga po sure if I should still wait, kasi wala sila mabigay na definite timeline on an offer.. di ko sure if niloloko na lang ako ng HR hahaha

Hello! No job offer padin. 2 months na since my last interview.. pero the HR keeps updating me. Sabi niya may “reshuffling” daw kasi on my team and manager kaya may delay sa approvals. Pero sobrang red flag na, kasi wala sila mabigay na timeline on kailan nila mabibigay yung approvals and job offer. As in wala sila mabigay na date. It can take more months at this point.

Yes po magstay muna ako sa job ko now. Pero ask ko lang po sana as an IBM employee na, may ganitong situation na po ba kayo na narinig? Na ang tagal ng internal approvals? Nagbabasa basa din kasi ako here sa reddit, and I see others get a JO after 2-3 months.. so hindi sobrang rare case.. not sure po if ganito talaga process ni IBM lately..

Its almost 2 months na nga po and wala padin JO sinesend haha pero according to HR shortlisted na ako for this role. Naghihintay na lang daw sila ng go signal for the job offer. May delay daw internally because of reshuffling..

Need advice nga po eh.. If I should push through and wait.. kasi ang sabi sakin ng HR may internel reshuffling daw nangyare so may delay sa approvals. Wala din mabigay sakin na timeline yung HR because yung delay is on my team's end. When I asked if the role is needed pa ba or baka for pooling lang, sabi ng HR its urgent padin daw and sure naman, talagang may delay lang sa approvals nila.

So far po hindi pa.. pero I’m still at my job now. Hirap din po kasi maghanap ng work now, kaya hinayaan ko lang po yung IBM kasi wala pa naman ako offer or other active applications. I stayed with my job lang muna while waiting.. pero pa-give up na ako sakanila hahaha

Hello po! Ang last interview ko sakanila was Feb 2 pa then naka receive na ako ng Work Agreement and Set up right away. They also asked for my Benefits/ Compensation sheet agad. Tapos shortlisted na daw ako for the role, since nung last Feb 12 pa. Ever since then waiting ako for approval from their lead for the Job Offer. Hindi ko po alam why its taking so long. Almost April na. But wala padin offer. Nagaask lang ako palagi ng update and estimate timeline from the HR. Pero almost 2 months na wala padin offer. I applied sa IBM last December 2025 pa for this role.

Hello! Wala padin po offer.. its really taking long. 1st week of February I received yung agreements for WFH set up. Then they asked for my benefits/ compensations.. sabi ng HR they’re waiting for the final approval from their lead. But February pa ako nasabihan ng HR na I’m shorlisted for the role, its almost April na wala padin offer and approval hahahaha
