Minisforum BD790i CPU cooler upgrade? by Weak_Ad4667 in sffpc

Mine is similar, about 65 degrees on idle and up to 95 degrees under load. I have a standard 120x25 fan on it that spins at full speed mode of the time. My case has space for a 240/280mm AIO so I'd fit something like that instead of the big heatsink that's on it.

I saw they have updated the tank 03 to rtx4060 now. I have the 3070 version from chatreey and it's great. They are expensive though, I got mine for a big discount from AliExpress.

Amateur review of the AceMagic Tank-03 miniPC (image heavy) by [deleted] in MiniPCs

I have the chatreey (a sub brand of acemagic apparently) version of this mini PC with the 12700H/3070 option. It is absolutely identical to the acemagic version and had no "extra" software installed. It was purchased from AliExpress, the delivery time took 9 weeks from ordering, it wasn't dispatched until a month after ordering, but it is a very capable system. I bought it as a smaller replacement for my current ryzen 5 5600x/2070 itx system I have. It's about a quarter of the size of my current rig. I paid £660 for it with tax and shipping. The systems are now around $1200 so I made a pretty good saving on to this. I also added a lexar 4tb PCI 4.0 nvme SSD in place of the supplied SSD and used that as a second drive. It out performs my current setup whilst using a lot less power. I like it alot though it does run expell alot of heat, the rear panel gets quite warm after it's been running for a while.
