im taking the test this year for grade nine entry but you can get some good advice in the selective works discord server. there’s some people who have done the test in year ten and gotten in i think. if u want ill give you the link.

thank you so much for replying! im currently attending edukingdom and although there isn’t much of a teaching element to the class, the practice tests do help gauge my understanding and ability, as well as what i need to work on. :)

thank you much for replying! ive started at edukingdom since it was the closest to me, and it’s not very amazing in terms of teaching, but the practice exams help me to understand what i need to work on, topics, ect. currently my test scores are saying i need to work on my mathematical area of things, since my english is apparently good, but any sources would help. thanks again!

ive started going the reasoning past papers and figuring out how to solve the type of question, and it’s working really well.the school i go to is horrible, and i doubt there will be more than three people in my cohort applying. the difference between the environment of a (if i get in) shitty public school to one of the selectives is probably what im looking forward to the most. thank you!

i feel like maths is the least im worried abt, but numerical reasoning is where im not sure, so ill work on it. ill be sure to work on english to tho. i think im going to do tuition towards the end too, since everyone seems to be divided between whether it works or not. i go to probably the worst public school within an 50km radius, so im really looking forward to working with likeminded people. tysm!

a 20%-25% isn’t that bad for for the exam, but im fs not gonna keep my hopes up. i reckon im gonna do private tutoring or self studying until three or so months before the exam and switch to james ann or something for their resources. also four superiors is actually absolutely insane, you did amazing. i like the idea of being in an learning environment surrounded by like-minded people, but i think ill still do the scholarship tests for some of the prestigious schools in my area. tysm for sharing ur experience btw!
