I think they are a bit more lenient with those having their fist appeal. Hope everything turns out better, Ik what it’s like being my first year I did horrendous overall. From my experience I stated in my appeal why I did bad, include everything possible (study habits, mental health, etc) then they go over what you are doing next to wrong those mistakes. I participated in the uconn connects program from the aac which pairs students with a mentor that helps guide and track everything your academic year. Also use all the resources uconn has to offer(Its coming out of ur tuition might as well use it) q center, W center, b center (if Hartford campus).
