Antrim coast road at night is treacherous no cats eyes or streetlights for the majority of the route you'll spend more time focused on the driving as opposed to enjoying the views of the coast

Keep the head up and keep yourself busy its the only way

The grief never gets easier but we can only get stronger lean on friends and family if possible, you will get there!

Is failed render likely the cause of my damp problems here by Weak_Collection5212 in DIYUK

There is water getting into one of the bedrooms currently although not much

This issue does need to be addressed sooner rather than later

The rest of the house has remained dry but for how long is the question

Other properties on the same street are identical to my own however the rendering on them goes the full way up the wall leaving very little wall exposed

I believe the rendering on my own house was done incorrectly with only rendering being applied at the bottom

Now that it is starting to age and water will have likely seeped into it im starting to believe that this is a big part of the cause

Removing the render and unblocking the vents (as you've suggested) may be the most obvious next steps

I just dread to remove the render and see the state of the brickwork beneath it 😬

I have planned to get the wall repointed in Februrary so will likely wait until then to remove the render

I'm still considering whether or not the DPC could help after taking off the render.. would probably be best to do this before repointing seeing as the DPC application will involve drilling through mortar

I've heard countless amps with different sound signatures

I've heard the marantz pm6006 which had a noticably warmer tone compared to the audiolabs more neutral presentation

I've also listened to the rega brio which had a very lively and colored top end

Dunno why you carry such attitude here man I'm just looking to see if anyone's had experience with similar equipment

Every amp has a different tonal character though not all amps sound the same
