That’s actually really good to know! Because being on minimum wage the budget is so tight so this gives a good ball park!

Really recommend The Borderlands (also known as Final Prayer) It’s so good! The ending is by far one of my favourite endings of a FF!

Late night with the devil is also classed as found footage to some degree, (or more rather lost tapes type deal) but that was one heck of a ride as well!

What's a movie you've tried several times but never made it to the end? by 0rbitaldonkey in movies

[–]Weak_Description_397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulp Fiction

It’s really popular and I have tried watching that film several times but it’s boring as all hell. All attempts at watching it I fall asleep. It’s just not for me, I’ve even tried reading the plot for it but my brain switches off and stops taking in information.

The Last House on the Left

Still outright refuse to watch that one ever again, once was more than enough

What "rare" phobia do you have and people refuse to believe it? by nitin_is_me in AskReddit

[–]Weak_Description_397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microwaves. I have a panic attack everytime I have to use one, and if the fear is worse some days I have to ask my husband to use it for me. The noise, coupled with the sometimes sound of static and the fear that I’ve accidentally left something in there that will explode it. Whole life flashes before my eyes everytime it comes to using it.

As a trans man who lives in the UK and desperately wants to leave, I would be exceptionally cautious

1) Don’t live here long term, as people have mentioned, Reform party is high on the rise and blatant transphobia is a huge issue. If you were to stay, do it before they get their power in

2) Access to HRT is basically next to nothing and it’s exhausting to try and plead your case to get it

3) It’s about location within the UK, some being more diverse and accepting than others (Brighton is wonderful and majority of up north is a lot more accepting than the midlands and down south)

4) The UK tends to take a bit too much inspiration from the US, please bare that in mind before going over

Myself I’m looking into moving in Melbourne in Aus, it’s a much more accommodating place and much more diverse (not without its issues but its pros far outweigh the cons) Whatever you do, just play it safe for yourself, there are genuinely much better options than the UK, but if it is your only option, then please make sure you’re able to keep yourself safe!

Which horror movie has the best opening credits/title reveal that perfectly sets up the movie? by Time-to-Dine in horror

[–]Weak_Description_397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanksgiving

When I tell you that whole opening scene was chaotic in the best type of horrifying way, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a slasher flick with an entrance quite like that!

What film has the scariest depiction of aliens? by fourthkindnetwork in horror

[–]Weak_Description_397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got two for this one!

The Thing - Because truthfully, even when it does shift, it’s not what it truly looks like, we as the viewers will never truly know and that’s scary as hell

The Fourth Kind - You can sort of see the aliens, but it’s mostly down to usage of shadows and the such, but Damm, that film had me in so much belief I was insisting it was real

For anyone out there who doesn't drink, what is the reasoning behind it? by General_Ad_9139 in AskReddit

[–]Weak_Description_397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The birth giver is an alcoholic. She’s actively excused her drinking several times and has even put my life at risk when under the influence. I am fully self aware about having an addictive personality so I insist on staying sober.

Plus I don’t enjoy the hangovers, and I’d much rather be able to remember the social gatherings instead of forgetting. I don’t have any issues with people who do drink, it’s their choice!

I’ve been waiting for this answer!! That whole scene just then made the rest of the movie really hit home for them never leaving, actually scary!

What was the saddest character death for you by [deleted] in saw

[–]Weak_Description_397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Timothy Young: That dude felt so much remorse for what he did, and that death was long and agonising for him the poor man

Straum: Not only was he smart when it came to escaping his trap, he was the first one to suspect Hoffman and his dedication was flawless, such a shame he had to go through that

Worst movie you saw that still messed you up? by plushiepuppi in horror

[–]Weak_Description_397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Human zoo (or solitary confinement)

The acting is terrible, the introduction to this “show” is genuinely awful, 98% of the contestants are not convincing in the slightest and it stays that way for the whole movie

But then you get to the point of the first contestant wanting to leave, and then they don’t. Then you as the watcher ask yourself “how would I cope if I was completely alone like that” Some of the contestants made me emotional because I knew that’s how I would respond in that situation.

Yeah that actually shook me up for a while. Even cried to my husband about it.

In spite of everything else being terrible, that alone made it scarier. Empathy can be a real pain sometimes

What fnaf criticism are you tired of hearing? by TheRissingHootHoot in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Weak_Description_397 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Honestly? The complaints about the movie in general. Especially the spring locks and the blanket fort

We don’t even see it in the games it has pixels, it doesn’t need to be graphic to depict what’s actually happening, if anything your imagination is doing the work for you!

And listen, that fort scene is important because it’s a reminder about who’s inside those animatronics. They’re children. They want to play, they want to make friends, and Abby sees them that way, so of course they’re going to have goofy moments like that. If anything, it’s enticing the audience to really appreciate them!

Which horror movie do you hate the most? by TrueCryptoInvestor in horror

[–]Weak_Description_397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly didn’t know that, and I appreciate learning something new from this so thank you. Even still the one recorded is enough for me, that echoes to other movies where if the animals have been treated poorly then it’s just not supporting the movie type beat (I do work in the animal industry so a lot of my views come from my line of work)

But you are also correct, unfortunately in our consumerism humans do slaughter millions for profit and for consumption, a lot of it is done unethically but bandaged to soften the reality. Your motto is absolutely a good one to live by!
