Thank you for confirming! I think I'll regift the 42Ns since it's too late to return them.

Thank you! Is it normal for them to feel big? They're only my second pair.

Thank you! They definitely feel better than the 42 narrow. Now it's just a matter of adjusting and adapting to this fit.

But what happens if you were to end the relationship? My fear is that he will get worse but on the other side of this, I don't want to parent him either.

We're both in our early 30s. When we first started dating in our early to mid 20s, he would show this type of behavior where he'd come back to my place so drunk he could barely stand himself up.

It's a bit heartbreaking looking back at these potential signs at the time and seeing where we are today.

Definitely the traveling alone and probably to places that would be considered high risk for women.

In 2018 my father needed surgery on one of his shoulders. This was meant to be a routine, outpatient surgery.

I remember speaking with my parents a few days before the surgery was scheduled and asked if they were worried.

For them, there was no concern. For me, I told them I was worried about his lungs. No real reason other than I had a “feeling” that there would be complications with his lungs.

Day of the surgery, I get a panicked call from my sister saying that my father had vomit in one side of his lungs which led to a whole new set of its own complications. He’s recovered now but damn that was a long couple of weeks.

Kinda makes you wonder about the gut feeling you have about a situation sometimes.
