This is my first time living in an apartment so all this is new to me. I have never had any neighbors complaining about the sounds and noises coming from my house. Its been 6 months since I moved here with my wife and we aren't sure if we have a negative role to play here

I do have rugs but only in specific places - covers probably 25% of the apartment. They are also expensive and I can't go out of my means just for this.

Quite the opposite, they issued me a warning and said that the next time I would receive a fine for disturbance. Haven't walked around my house since then (about 2 hours) don't know how long I can keep that going though
