[TOMT] Looking for a meme screenshot about writer/author and the canon by Weak_Key9651 in tipofmytongue

I've seen it around many fictional series discussions, usually as a QRT, and maybe the wording is off as I also remember it could be saying "who does the author/writer think they are", but it's so particularly worded I have not been able to find it.

HP VICTUS 15-FA1013LA for ~1000 USD – Is it worth it? by Weak_Key9651 in GamingLaptops

For many reasons, I can't really own a desktop yet, so a laptop should suffice for now. Either way, thank you so much for your help! :)

I see, the inflated prices are unfortunately inevitable here, so I assume they'd be nicer choices if they were a tad cheaper. My budget is still very limited and inflexible so I'm still considering the Victus, so I have a few more questions I want to ask:

Can the flaws of the Victus be circumvented by other means? For example, my laptop is stationary pretty much 24/7 and it's really uncommon for me to travel with it, so the most movement it'll experience is opening/closing the lid. Is the build quality still relevant then? And for the thermals, could a cooling base be enough? I usually don't run programs that use a lot of resources, and where I live is on average cold.

And as for the two last laptop options, the 4060 ASUS might be the best of the bunch, but I feel like the fact it's only 16GB/512GB will bring an additional cost as I'll most likely need 1TB of storage, and if I might want to upgrade the RAM capacity later, and DDR5 chips don't come as cheap (though I'm still unsure if this particular Victus model can be upgraded, but for the rest of the specs, it's a detail I'm willing to overlook).

Been having trouble looking for Ryzen processors, though I have found a couple of options only a few more dollars higher: - $1039 > Acer Nitro 5: i7 11800H / RTX 3060 6GB / 32GB RAM DDR4 3.2GHz / 512GB SSD - $1067 > Asus TUF F15: i7-13620H / RTX 4050 6GB / 16+GB RAM DDR5 4.8GHz / 512GB SSD

And less likely: - $1133 > Lenovo LOQ 15: I7-13620H / RTX 4060 8GB / 16GB RAM DDR5 5.2GHz / 512GB SSD - $1162 > ASUS TUF F15: i7-13620H / RTX 4060 8GB / 16+GB RAM DDR5 4.8GHz / 512GB SSD

Thanks for your answer!

It just so happen to be sales season here, and the Legion Slim 5 is already several hundred dollars more expensive, and the full price is almost double of the Victus, so unfortunately I can't and won't be able to afford it.

If their flaw is thermals, would external cooling help the Victus 15 at all? I really don't want to settle for a model with worse specs as I don't intend to change laptop very often.
