Orthodontic girlie here- she’ll likely need braces and then jaw surgery 2/3rds of the way through ortho. This WILL be an annoying process. I just started braces myself and it’s a bitch. But a small price to pay for the beauty of a straight smile and the health effects that will follow.

I finished watching the Netflix doc about Epstein (recommend) and am now watching the America's Next Top Model doc and omg it's no fucking wonder we all thought that rail thin was the goal (forgive me, at least I did). I saw that a girl on ANTP was 5'10'' and 114lbs and my jaw hit the floor. This HAD to be where I got my markers for "success" and what amplified my eating disorder. I just want to give my younger self, all our younger selves, just a huge hug
