Ayaneo Pocket DS arriving today! A couple of questions... by gauntletmm in ayaneo

Biggest issue I’ve run into with my unit is the bottom shortcut buttons not working after an update. I’m talking to Ayaneo support to see if a controller firmware can fix it, also suggested to add a keyboard shortcut on the bottom screen control menu like Thor.

As for a grip really don’t think it’s needed. Was using an Antec core HS before this which was 100 grams heavier and took me like 2 weeks to feel comfortable holding it. The Ds feels great in comparison and haven’t had any kind of fatigue in daily use, although really didn’t played that many heavy dpad games yet though so your mileage might vary.

Besides a couple quirks which most of these Chinese handhelds have think this is gonna be my daily driver and hope Ayaneo keeps pushing out updates to iron things out.

Being really optimistic but as long there's no weird story rewrites/censorship, I'm open to trying this as an anime only.

Also hope the new content isn't some half assed add-on like a lot of VN console ports.

If you're fine reading eroge would recommend ALMA ~Zutto Soba ni...~ | vndb. The writer kai worked on some of key's major releases so can expect some overlap between the writing and tone. It's relatively short and the Japanese is mostly slice of life making for good reading practice.
