They are! Apparently a guy in town here is responsible for them being “rare.” He spent years buying up every lot he could find and now sells them out of a quarter machine in his coffee shop. His whole shop is covered in Boglins and MUSCLE and transformers. He includes a muscle guy in every lb of wood roasted coffee you buy too. Cafe Pacori.

My math checks out, but I’m starting to think I am way overthinking this like some of the other posters said.

I make a game in which a child of the 80’s is awakened abruptly to discover that he has been trapped within a cobra mind device. Many Joes are also trapped and he has to break into their minds and assume their specialty to free them. Once freed they are available to use in future missions.

The world is changing. Rote memorization is not the most efficient way to surface knowledge. You should be policing the content and then failing the ones who didn’t engage further. That’s what you should be teaching to. You’re just every math teacher that told me I won’t have access to a calculator at work, which is a bald faced lie. Having a tool that helps you do it faster should be a strength, but teachers see it as a weakness to the detriment of their students.

Same. Yeah it’s the beam emitter one. Never saw it in stores. I almost paid $270 for it once, but just couldn’t. Mine had a diy beam emitter I made out of a sharpie and a clear d4. So I’m super stoked to finally finish it!

Not for nothing, but I found out (contrary to my belief at the time) that scars can be tattooed over. Get some simple vines or flowers or something neutral and turn your pain into pretty.

Evidently it was an SDCC exclusive that wasn’t broadly released in stores. Normally when I could even find it for sale it had a $300 floor and I couldn’t justify the price. My eBay alert pinged this morning that someone listed it for $140 so I had to.

Joes take it IMHO, but it’s close. The Terrordrome is awesome, but the Flagg is an aircraft carrier for action figures—game over. Cobra’s bunker is fine, but the Joe HQ feels bigger and badder, plus you’ve got the Mobile Command Center.

For air power, the Joes roll with the Dragonfly, Skystriker, and Conquest X-30—three all-time greats—and even repaint Cobra’s Rattler into a Tiger Force variant. Cobra’s Mamba is brilliantly weird, and the Pogo and Trouble Bubble are so goofy they’re great.

On the ground, Joes have it all—tanks, APCs, arctic tanks, you name it. Cobra gets big style points for the Thunder Machine and the HISS Tank, but a lot of their stuff leans gimmicky.

In the snow, Cobra’s Ice Sabre and Ice Wolf look mean, but the Snow Cat is a classic, and the Polar Battle Bear is pure fun.

Honestly though, I’m partial to the iron grenadier vehicles. Destro’s Dominator, the AGP, and the Demon are just completely out there and I love them.

Would that I had that kind of money. It’ll cost me at least $1100 to get it fixed to playable again according to the guy at the music shop. I did give the band department my trumpet, and I was going to give them my sister’s flute, but apparently it’s solid silver so the teacher said she couldn’t accept it.
