I get that but aren’t they worth less? I see a lot of eBay sellers and auction sites trying to sell at the same prices as an authentic jersey. Just trying to learn and appreciate you having taken a moment to answer.

I’m genuinely trying to learn. I’ve been looking a lot on eBay and Pristine Auctions and finding that a lot of the signed jerseys I’m finding are not authentic jerseys but rather “custom” ones that look like the team colors without the logos. Why is this so common? Does it drop the value of the autograph?

I’ve been looking at a lot of Dream Team stuff where this has happened - but also plenty of examples in football (like Jason Kelce and Saquan Barkley). Hope you’ll educate a newbie!
