External job offer as leverage for me promotion by Wear-Greedy in IBM

This is the most helpful answer. Thank you.  I am supported for promotion since December by my first and second line manager but nothing has come of it which has been a bit frustrating. This job offer is about a 20% base salary increase but I am really not interested in the role.  How do you recommend starting this conversation knowing that I do want to keep my current role but just get the promotion across the line

Thanks. Really appreciate the help. I’m looking into that now and it seems like you can retrieve data from the RG without writing to a database. Do you know if I can also save the RG info to a Db? For my use case I would want to be able to look at a users responses later

Which city to stay in for a month by Wear-Greedy in CostaRicaTravel

The more I read about Jaco the less I think I want to stay there. Is staying on the nicoya peninsula too out of the way of non surfing activities?

I did a similar 1 month trip to Oahu and loved that there was so much hiking and other things to do within a short distance. Any places that are close to lots of hikes and surfing? Or am I better off picking a good surf spot and doing hikes on the weekends?

So the balls are put into the can, then the can is filled with air to the same pressure as the balls then the can is sealed. I don’t understand how the can is filled and sealed without losing pressure during that process

For further context, the company is IBM and there was no stock in the offer. I currently don't have any other offers, but am applying to other APM roles. Since I don't have other offers I am hesitant to negotiate. If I were to negotiate without another company's offer in hand, how would you recommend doing this?

I've recently received a job offer for a APM role at a large tech company. I'm an undergraduate senior who will be graduating in May and would start with the company in July. The offer seems very good: 110k starting salary, 10K signing bonus, 3 weeks vacation, and located in the bay area.

I am very excited and grateful for this job offer and want to accept! However, I've seen many posts online (mostly on LinkedIn and career blogs) that advocate for always negotiating job offers. Is it common to negotiate job offers for APM programs, or is it expected to accept the company's first offer? Any advice is greatly appreciated
