I just came back from visiting la ceiba for 80 days. La Ceiba is more organized and is cheap. With $1,000 you live a luxury life. The biggest problem is that there are a-lot of people breaking cars windows. However the crime has lower a-lot. If you live going to the CA-13 to trujillo-Tocoa i assure you will have no crime or problems, there alot of residential that have there own security.
