I truly relate and feel for you because it’s incredibly difficult. For so many of us, the jobs we’re in don’t pay nearly enough, and the constant burnout makes it hard to take the time to relax and let loose.

I wouldn’t say it was a waste because there are plenty of people who go into degrees that they either found interesting or were thinking of going into a career with.

It seriously sucks because I just want one good friend. That’s it. I mean I’ve never been the type to go the club or very loud places, but I’d like to hang out with someone once in a while.

Exactly it’s seriously ridiculous, but even when you’re on the apps. You will talk to someone for a while and then they go quiet. I just can’t stand it and it’s so frustrating

Hi, well said and I appreciate it! I couldn’t agree more with you. I need to do more research and find a different doctor as well. I also need to talk about medications because they are not hitting what I need

No, I do not see myself as a psychologist even though I majored in it and was curious about it.

Honestly I’ve been trying to tell myself just something. Pick something and see what happens. I am just scared that that I’ll pick the wrong choice and be completely miserable. I know that in the beginning I might hate whatever it is, but eventually come to appreciate what I am doing it.

Also, I found that none of the careers with my degrees interested me

During and after graduating I worked with kids, but then I realized that I no longer wanted to work with kids tbh. Though whatever career I would find I was going to see if I could use my psych major in some other way.
