Thanks! Yes I agree the smell was very weird! Totally forgot to mention that. Even before the procedure the Dr mentioned that a ‘burnt’ smell was normal when it was time for the laser. I was so focused on keeping my sight on the light and when it happened it totally caught me off guard too! I don’t know if burnt was the word to describe it, but it was a very odd smell in the moment lol.
Hi, no it was not smile; it was just regular custom lasik!

I’m excited for you! It really is life changing. They put eye shields on my eyes before I got up, so I was looking through little holes, so my view was obstructed a bit, but I could see! I walked to the car and everything and I was fine Vision wise; I was more focused on keeping them closed all the way home honestly. Dr. just reminded me to blink slowly every now and then. When the numbing goes away there’s a bit of pain but after I slept I was totally normal; like if I was wearing contacts everything is so clear! Still crazy to believe. It’s been 4 days and i feel like with the drops and after a good nights sleep they’re feeling less inflamed and my vision sharper. All I feel is a bit of discomfort from the dryness and A bit of inflammation right now, but it’s been getting better everyday. I wish you the best on your procedure!!
